The Top 100 Sports Evaluation Staff hit the road over the weekend to evaluate the Maryland Heat Organization in conjunction with Perfect Performance, a Top 100 Softball Maryland affiliate.

Due to the COVID 19 pandemic, evaluations were conducted outside for the safety and health of all athletes and staff.

Manager Jason Dietz of the Maryland Heat, a big supporter of Top 100 Sports, was excited to start the process of evaluating his athletes, "These numbers will provide our staff a starting point," Dietz continued," It's critically important to have a baseline measurement of our athletes because it will give us an idea of what areas need improvement and where we stand as an organization leading into the fall and winter months."

The Heat Organization will train their athletes around the metrics to better their scores for the next evaluation date. " We always need to get better and the Top 100 Sports metrics will challenge our athletes to compete through training. Once we see the Organization Leaderboard, the responsibility to improve will be placed on our athletes and encourages them to get better."

The biggest asset for Jason and his staff are the individual player profiles that include a short bio of the athlete and tested metrics with video of each to confirm the numbers. "Receiving the numbers is one thing, but to have the athletes video of each separate metric will provide us the necessary information to make adjustments to the athlete."

The Maryland Heat are in the process of setting their next evaluation date in the coming months." We will look forward to the results from today and to start the journey of getting better, from the athletes to our staff. Everyone is being challenged to improve through Top 100.
